Hyundai’s new i30cw crossover wagon will make its debut in final Australian specification at the 2009 Melbourne International Motor Show.
Set to go on sale from March, the i30cw offers all the multi-award winning features and good looks of the i30 hatch plus added rear seat legroom and a bigger luggage capacity thanks to a slightly longer wheelbase.
The i30cw is 230mm longer and 40mm taller than the i30 hatch, providing more space and flexibility for the lifestyle buyer or the growing family with a full size stroller and shopping - and a set budget.
Designed by Hyundai’s European design studio in Russelsheim Germany, the external styling is distinctive, finished with side repeaters housed in the mirrors. The economical petrol and turbo-diesel engines found in the hatch will also be available in the wagon; ensuring space is matched with low running costs.
