Thrush Big Chief side pipes, first ones I've ever seen in person, and they're on a VW kombi! (front engine exhaust pipes on a rear engine VW??)
0 comments Posted by korekore at 9:37 PM Irapau in Brazil asked int he comments is they are mounted, or just for looks. Dude, you don't have an email on you blog profile, and didn't include an email in your comment. How am I supposed to answer?
the above advertisement is just one of the set I posted at http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2010/01/thrush-pipes-and-mufflers-advertising.htmlThe cool all VW spring festival at Bob Baker had a LOT of type 2's (micro busses/ kombi -what is the right term?)
0 comments Posted by korekore at 8:08 PM I'm starting this post with a comparison of the small differences between these, and the easiest one to see was the radio antenna... the above is the only one I've seen in the middle of the VW sign
Notice the above and below have 2 different antennas
The above ladder was being tested by Pedro, he's making new ones because he says that originals cost about 600, and he'll sell these for about 150.
Bought from a junkyard in El Centro for 300 if I recall correctly, but rusted real bad, and took several years to get into decent condition
I think the owner called this the conestoga look, ready for a canvas top

The above looks like an electric wheelchair trying to pull a cop car
Yup, wind powered car
