Just learned about the Pooper. yeah, stupid name, but catchy: Porsche engined Cooper race car by Pete Lovely

1915 Sea to Sea trip began in Coney Island New York, and was to go to San Francisco California, these 4 factory backed cars were to see which made a better car by merely surviving the road conditions. The closest is a Packard, the other black car is a Studebaker. The white cars aren't lableled or indicated, and I couldn't find anything on the internet about this competition. The destination was the 1915 PanPacific Exposition in San Fran

There are different types of race cars for different types of races. Race cars for races such as formula one racing, street car racing, Touring car racing, Production car racing, One-make racing, Stock car racing, Rallying, Targa Racing (Targa Rally), Drag racing, Sports car racing, Off-road racing, Kart racing and more are different and must be designed accordingly.

Cars racing is one of the world's most watched television sports. The cars participating in the competition are called race cars. These are manufactured by different top automobile giants. These race cars are built according to the requirement of the type of racing it is going to take part of. Normally different technology's are used in the design of these race cars.
